Q: What is the
AAU certification about?
A:
AAU as an entry level certification program
validates the latest skills needed by today’s airsoft users. It is a
vendor neutral certification which serves to confirm one's ability to
perform basic airsoft tasks such as preparation, initial configuration,
basic diagnosing and preventive maintenance. The exam also cover knowledge
domains such as safety and legal issues.
Q: What are the
rules?
A: No rules. The
entire project runs on the basis of an honor system.
Q: What testing technology does the Certification exam use?
For AAU: The exam is
multiple choice based and may be conducted entirely online. You need to
answer about 40 questions in 60 minutes. Your browser MUST support

Q: What language may
be used for answering the questions?
A: At present only
English is supported.
Q: What is the cut
score?
A: Roughly at 85%.
This cut score is a guideline for evaluation only.
Q: How difficult is
the actual exam?
A: All we can tell is
that the actual exam will require candidates to do way more than pure memorization.
Q: How does grading
work?
A: Answers are pretty straight forward as questions are
MC based. Grading is done through self evaluation.
Q: Do you publish the
correct answers?
A: Yes, after exam
completion.
Q: What if I fail?
A: If you fail an
exam, you may simply retake when you feel you are ready again.
Q: Is the
certification vendor dependant or is it vendor neutral?
A: The certification
is totally vendor neutral.
